Three men were wounded in a late-afternoon shooting at Chinapoo Village, Morvant, on Monday, forcing children and residents to flee for safety. The attack took place near a community gathering attended by families, shortly before nightfall.
Video from the scene shows children running across the street as gunfire erupted, with one man seen grabbing his infant child and escaping the chaos.
Three men sustained gunshot injuries. Two of the victims have been identified as Solomon Cambridge of Morvant, who was taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital, and Rodney Williams. The third man’s identity and condition have not been released.
