KINGSTON, Jamaica—The Jamaica Constabulary Force on Thursday conducted a major operation to destroy counterfeit goods worth millions of dollars.
While the JCF did not state where the operation was conducted, it noted in a statement that this is a significant step in combating organised crime and the illicit trade network.
The operation was carried out by the Transnational Crime Investigation Division (TCID) of the Specialised Investigation Branch (SIB) in partnership with the Anti-Illicit Trade Desk of the Jamaica Chamber of Commerce.
