An 11-year-old girl from Los Iros who was reported missing on Friday was found dead in the Carapal area, according to reports.
The child, identified as Mercedes Carbera, was reportedly placed in a vehicle by her grandfather to travel to Los Iros but did not arrive at her destination.
Search efforts were conducted by officers of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit, Homicide investigators, and the Hunters Search and Rescue Team led by Commander Shamsudeen Ayube.
