Mercedez Layne, the 12-year-old child who was found brutally murdered last week, will be laid to rest on Tuesday.
The Express spoke with a relative yesterday, who confirmed the body of the Standard Four student will first be taken to her mother’s home at Los Iros Beach Road, Erin; then to the Erin Seventh-Day Adventist Church for 1 p.m., where the funeral service will be held.
Following the service, the body will be interred at the Erin Public Cemetery.
