When 37-year-old dental technician Sydonnie Harper walked away from the inaugural Miss 30+ Jamaica 2026 with the Best Smile prize recently, it represented more than just the profession she has built her life around. It reflected the strength of a woman who has learned to smile through her pain.
âI was surprised to be honest because many of the contestants there also had wonderful smiles, but I tied it to the fact that I am a dental technician,â she shared, giggling.
But Harper said her smile carries a deeper meaning.
