Venezuelans remanded for disorderly behaviour in Kitty

(Kaieteur News) – Three Venezuelan men were remanded to prison on Friday on charges of disorderly behaviour and number of other offences allegedly committed at a wash bay in Kitty, Georgetown last week.

Police in a press release identified the defendants as: Erich Medina, Jose Daniels and Cesar Sotillo. They appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court Before Magistrate Faith McGusty.

Medina and Daniels were both charged with assault with intent to prevent lawful apprehension and disorderly behaviour. They were not required to plead to the indictable charge and were remanded until 9th October, 2026. Cesar Sotillo was charged with making loud and continuous noise, resisting a peace officer and disorderly behaviour. He too was remanded until 9th October, 2026.
