2 cops injured as patrol vehicle crashes during chase

Two police officers were treated at hospital early Saturday morning after their patrol vehicle overturned while pursuing a speeding car in Chase Village.
The incident occurred around 12.55 a.m. during a Highway Patrol Task Force DUI operation along the Southern Main Road, near Hoa Li Supermarket.
Police said a Toyota Axio travelling south at a high rate of speed failed to stop when officers signalled the driver to pull over and instead drove through the road exercise.
