“We are always ready!”

So said said Acting Police Commissioner Junior Benjamin when asked if the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service is ready to treat with the April 28 general election.

Prime Minister Stuart Young, who was sworn in on Monday, advised President Christine Kangaloo on Tuesday to dissolve Parliament with effect from midnight on Tuesday 18th March, 2025 in accordance with Section 68 of the Constitution.
