The National Trust of Trinidad and Tobago is inviting the public to celebrate World Steelpan Day 2026 with an afternoon of music, culture and history at Mille Fleurs in Port-of-Spain on Saturday.
The event, titled PAN Heritage: The Experience, will run from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and is designed to showcase the evolution of the steelpan while highlighting the cultural traditions that gave rise to Trinidad and Tobago's national instrument.
The family-friendly event will feature live steelpan performances by local musicians, interactive workshops for people of all ages and a heritage exhibition tracing the development of the instrument from its early beginnings to its global recognition.
