Two women from Barrackpore are among four people charged in connection with a violent home invasion in South Oropouche earlier this month.
Police said a 29-year-old and a 35-year-old woman, were jointly charged alongside two men, a 28-year-old of Hassanali Trace, Lower Barrackpore, and a 31-year-old of Reform Development, Gasparillo.
On September 13, criminals broke into the victims’ South Oropouche Trace home while they slept. Two men were spotted climbing through a window before the victims were tied up and robbed of cash, jewelry, passports, electronics, phone cards, and their gold Mazda 3 motor vehicle. The suspects escaped in the stolen car.
