A man has died fol­low­ing a road traf­fic ac­ci­dent along the south­bound lane of the Solomon Ho­choy High­way near In­di­an Trail ear­ly Thurs­day morn­ing.

Po­lice said around 5 a.m., High­way Pa­trol of­fi­cers PC Boodoo and PC Bridge­mo­han re­spond­ed to the scene where a white Nis­san Ver­sa, reg­is­tra­tion PDE 3771, had run off the road­way and land­ed in a ditch. The ve­hi­cle was ex­ten­sive­ly dam­aged.

The dri­ver, An­gel Alex­is Dy­er of Gua­napo Es­tate, Rio Claro, and her front-seat pas­sen­ger, 34-year-old Paul Nanan of Buen In­ten­to Road, Princes Town, were both in­jured.
