(Kaieteur News) – ExxonMobil is reluctant to share its development plans for Guyana despite keen interest from shareholders on the company’s exploration, discoveries and project development.
During its third quarter earnings call on October 30, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Darren Woods was asked for an update on the company’s plans for another Floating Production Storage and Offloading vessel (FPSO).
The investor said, “The longer term portfolio seems like its continuing to evolve with some of the changes you’ve made, specifically LNG so I wonder if you could just touch on how you see the trajectory evolving post 2030. I know it’s early but I wanna be specific on Guyana because you’ve had a number of additional discoveries it looks like you may be lining up a 9th/ 10th boat there. Any colour you can offer would be great.”
