A 14-year-old boy sustained gunshot wounds to both legs during an incident at his La Horquetta home on Friday night.
Police reported that around 11:30 p.m., officers from the La Horquetta Police Station responded to a report of explosions at Art De Couteau Drive, Phase 2. They found the teenager lying on a couch near the front door of the living room in the two-storey concrete home.
The boy, who lives with both his parents, was taken to the Arima Health Facility by his family. Doctors confirmed he sustained gunshot injuries to his left lower leg and right upper leg and listed him as stable.
