The owner of Living Lovelly said her best friend, 45-year-old Abigail Simone Andrews, had not yet begun her cellulite treatment when she suddenly suffered a seizure and died on Friday night.
The 49-year-old business owner, who asked that her name not be published, said Andrews was lying on a massage bed at the McClean Street, Curepe business, using her phone while waiting for her treatment. âShe was on the bed on her phone talking to someone. When I came to the door, I saw her pointing to her tongue and I thought she was joking with me. She started to seize, and fluid was coming out of her mouth. It looked like she was choking on her vomit.â
The owner said she immediately began trying to help Andrews. âI gave her CPR. It was awful and traumatising. The thing about it is I didnât even know what to do,â she said.
