SECURITY guard Orneilia Singh Nanlal had been counting down the days until she moved into her own home with her family.

But the 33-year-old's hopes were cut short on Boxing Day when she died suddenly, leaving behind a husband and 11-year-old son devastated and confused by her passing.

Nanlal, originally from Arouca, was at the Penal home she shared with her family after working a night shift, when she complained of feeling unwell.
