Seventy-four-year-old Doodhani Vishvati Sooknanan, who was found dead in her home when police broke through a door while two other women were in the house on Thursday, was last seen alive by neighbours in Edinburgh 500, Chaguanas, just before Christmas.

Know by neighbours as “Mary”, she was seen taking out garbage and placing it in a bin outside her home along Torenia Avenue.

However, she tripped and hit her head and was bleeding, a resident of the area told the Express yesterday.
