GRIEF, celebration and remembrance filled St Patrick's RC Church, Picton Street, Newtown, yesterday as family, friends, classmates and supporters gathered to say their final goodbye to nine-year-old J'Layna Mikayla Armstrong.

J'Layna was tragically killed on April 19 in Morvant. That night, she was travelling in a red Mitsubishi Lancer with three others- identified as 26-year-old Asim Armstrong, her uncle, 20-year-old Chelsea Edwards, and 23-year-old Obateaiye Latiff-when gunmen pulled alongside their vehicle and opened fire. The attack occurred near a Seventh- day Adventist Church, causing the vehicle to crash.
