(Kaieteur News) – Chairman of A Partnership for National Unity (APNU), Aubrey Norton, has accused the People’s Progressive Party/Civic (PPP/C) administration of pursuing an agenda to change the economic landscape of Linden, allowing its supporters to gain greater control while pushing Lindeners aside.
Speaking at the party’s press conference on Friday, Norton said the Government has, in essence, been allowing its supporters on the outskirts of the town to establish “these large commercial industrial enterprises on an already fragile infrastructure with no support.”
He said this amounts to “a deliberate attempt to destroy the Linden community and the municipality that governs it.”
