SAN FERNANDO resident Johchele Johnson is the 2026 Bocas Slam Poetry champion.

He dethroned Shaquille Warren during the finals at the Lord Kitchener Auditorium, National Academy for the Performing Arts (NAPA) in Port of Spain on Sunday night.

His winning piece 'TickeT' earned him $25,000.
