Valerie Green, the widow of calypso legend Aldwyn "Lord Kitchener" Roberts, died on September 19.
Roberts and Green had four children – Christian, Kernal, Quweina and Kirnister Roberts. Kernal Roberts is a song writer, producer and artiste who has composed several calypso and soca hits.
In a Facebook post on September 19, Quweina Roberts said, "The failed medical system in TT took our mother from us. She's gone because they failed her this morning."
