TWO WOMEN injured while crossing between two music trucks on Jouvert morning in Port of Spain were said to be in stable condition at the Port of Spain General Hospital up to last night.
They were identified as Anaisha Hamlet, 23, of Sandy Trace, off Upper St Barbs Road, Laventille, and Shanice Trim, 24, of Upper St Barbs Road, Laventille.
Police said that around 9 a.m. Carnival Monday two music trucks from two different bands were attempting to pass each other along Damien Street, St James. As both vehicles were passing each other within a restricted space, one of the DJs began urging masqueraders to keep to the left of both trucks.
