RELATIVES and friends of 18-year-old dancer and student Jedda Beharry gathered outside her Happy Hill, Gasparillo, home on Sunday night for a candlelight vigil in her memory.

Friends, neighbours, and well-wishers joined the teenager’s grieving family as they lit candles and remembered a young woman described as loving, compassionate and always willing to help others.

The funeral for Beharry, which was previously postponed, has been rescheduled for August 28, with the service expected to begin at 1 p.m. at the Pointe-a-Pierre Golf Club.
