POLICE are investigating the sudden death of an 18-year-old student who became ill at a Gasparillo home on Friday night.

The deceased is Jedda Beharry, of Happy Hill, Gasparillo, who was a student at the School of International Travel and Languages (SITAL) and the lead dancer for a troupe in Gasparillo.

According to a police report, Beharry was spending time at the home of her boyfriend in Ben Lomond Village when she began complaining of sudden chest pains around 10.40 p.m.
