After more than a decade of knowing each other, Sedia Betty and Daniel Dinnyes’ destination wedding in Jamaica was never going to be a single-day affair.

Their love story began on December 29, 2012, at Harrods Food Hall in London. Coincidentally, it was the first visit for both. At the time, Sedia had moved to the United Kingdom to pursue her studies and career, while Daniel had relocated for work.

Hours disappeared as they spoke about travel, life, and the futures they imagined for themselves. Looking back, Sedia remembers immediately noticing something different about Daniel. She told Island Wedding: “I was immediately drawn to Daniel's intelligence and the way he carried himself. Our conversations flowed effortlessly, and I remember being intrigued by how knowledgeable he was, while still remaining humble and genuinely interested in other people.”
