HOMELAND Security Minister Roger Alexander advised young people yesterday to wake up, stop taking on social media and “go get yours” as he was recorded getting into a Nissan Tiida (Wetman) to be taken to yesterday’s Independence Day parade.
Alexander who later sat down to the brief interview with a communication’s consultant said that he did it to show young people that regardless of where one began, where they ended up was entirely up to them
“Let me tell you this. The car, the office, they don’t make you and I wanted to show people, no matter what walk of life you are going through at this time, keep your dreams alive,” he said.
