Cuban Ambassador Yanet Stable Cardenas said the United Nations General Assembly will debate Cuba’s resolution against the United States embargo tomorrow, with the vote scheduled for the following day.
During a media conference at the Cuban Embassy in Barbados, she cited more than US$8 million in damages between March 2025 and February 2026 and criticised US Executive Orders 14380 and 14404 as “collective punishment”.
Stable Cardenas also described blackouts averaging over 20 hours that are straining healthcare, water and food supplies.
