Barbados will continue to press for an end to the economic embargo on Cuba and oppose double standards in the fight against terrorism, Senior Minister Kerrie Symmonds said at a ceremony marking the 50th anniversary of the fatal bombing of Cubana Flight 455.
At an annual wreath-laying ceremony at a monument to the October 6, 1976 crash at Paynes Bay, St James, Symmonds called for an end to double standards in global diplomacy, terrorism and international economic policy.
