CARIBBEAN AIRLINES' board says there has been no discussion about closing the State-owned carrier.
Caribbean Airlines made the statement in a media release issued yesterday in response to a media report claiming it was considering a shutdown if it failed to secure Government support to offset rising fuel costs linked to the US/Israel war with Iran.
'Caribbean Airlines is aware of recent public discussions following a media report. The airline reassures customers, partners and stakeholders that operations continue as normal,' it stated.
