The Trinidad and To­ba­go Po­lice Ser­vice (TTPS) is warn­ing cit­i­zens to re­main vig­i­lant as the num­ber of elec­tron­ic fraud cas­es con­tin­ues to rise, de­spite pre­vi­ous pub­lic ad­vi­sories.

In a re­lease, the TTPS re­vealed that its Fraud Squad has re­ceived 48 new re­ports of fraud­u­lent ac­tiv­i­ty since its last ad­vi­so­ry on May 16, 2025.

The unit, part of the White-Col­lar Crime Di­vi­sion, said the in­crease sug­gests that scam­mers are still suc­cess­ful­ly tar­get­ing un­sus­pect­ing mem­bers of the pub­lic.
