The Trinidad and ToĀbaĀgo PoĀlice SerĀvice (TTPS) is warnĀing citĀiĀzens to reĀmain vigĀiĀlant as the numĀber of elecĀtronĀic fraud casĀes conĀtinĀues to rise, deĀspite preĀviĀous pubĀlic adĀviĀsories.
In a reĀlease, the TTPS reĀvealed that its Fraud Squad has reĀceived 48 new reĀports of fraudĀuĀlent acĀtivĀiĀty since its last adĀviĀsoĀry on May 16, 2025.
The unit, part of the White-ColĀlar Crime DiĀviĀsion, said the inĀcrease sugĀgests that scamĀmers are still sucĀcessĀfulĀly tarĀgetĀing unĀsusĀpectĀing memĀbers of the pubĀlic.
