A sus­pect who has been ar­rest­ed in re­la­tion to the mur­der of 20-year-old Sa­van­na Dy­er has been sent to the St Ann’s Psy­chi­atric Hos­pi­tal for eval­u­a­tion, po­lice said.

Dy­er’s body was found in an aban­doned par­cel of land on Xeres Road, Carlsen Field, on Sat­ur­day morn­ing.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors said blood was vis­i­ble on her face and marks of vi­o­lence were ev­i­dent on the body.
