POLICE have confirmed that a “person of interest” was detained on Monday night in connection with the murder of 20-year-old Savanna Dyer and, hours later, a second suspect surrendered himself to the authorities.
The first suspect was held at a home along Quarry Street, East Dry River in Port of Spain after 11 p.m. on Monday.
The man, who is said to be in his early 20s, is expected to be questioned by officials from the Homicide Bureau in connection about any information he may have in relation to Dyer’s last whereabouts before her body was found on Saturday in Carlsen Field.
