DAYS after the St Francois Girls’ College celebrated victory in the National Junior Panorama Under-19 final, students had to be dismissed early yesterday after a gunman opened fire on a man, killing him near the school.
Police said, around 9 a.m., Allister George, 28, and two other men, Kendall Lewis, 45, and Shawn Rajman, 69, were at Upper Serraneau Road, Belmont, when they were approached by a man who turned a gun on them.
George was struck multiple times in the chest and head and was killed on the spot.
