(Kaieteur News) – President Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali used a Town Hall Meeting in Saint Lucia on Tuesday evening to encourage Guyanese living overseas to invest, return home and participate in Guyana’s ongoing development.
The meeting, hosted by the Guyana/Saint Lucia Association at the Financial Administrative Center in Castries, attracted a large audience and formed part of the President’s engagement with the Guyanese diaspora while attending the 51st Regular Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM.
President Ali was accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Hugh Todd, Minister of Public Service, Government Efficiency and Implementation Zulfikar Ally, and National Security Advisor Captain Gerry Gouveia.
