A 60-year-old lotto booth operator was viciously chopped during a robbery at her workplace on Saturday night, in what police have described as a violent and deliberate attack.
The woman of Les Coteaux Road, Mason Hall, was closing the Mt. Grace Lotto Shop around 7:55 p.m. when she was confronted by two men wearing dark clothing and masks that left only their eyes visible. Both were armed with cutlasses.
According to police reports, the assailants, described as slim-built, approximately six feet tall, approached Spencer as she was securing the booth. One was dressed in a dark jersey, dark blue jeans, and a fisherman's hat, while the other wore a dark jersey and black jeans.
