SEWA TT has received telecommunications equipment valued at $50,000 to better support the charitable organisation’s efforts during national emergencies. The donation came from Computer Technologies and Services Limited (CTSL), which launched its operations in Couva on Thursday.
CTSL Founder and Managing Director, Rushton Paray, said the initiative formed part of a commitment he made to SEWA TT during his 10-year tenure as the MP for Mayaro. Paray praised SEWA TT’s dedication to assisting those in need during times of disaster.
“We are happy to donate this IPBX system. It’s a 10-terminal system specifically designed for mobile operations. It has 8 mobile FSO in it so you won’t need access to hard phone lines in times of disaster,” he said.
