Three telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions tech­ni­cians from across the Caribbean have se­cured in­ter­na­tion­al cer­ti­fi­ca­tion as part of a re­gion­al train­ing ini­tia­tive launched by Lib­er­ty Caribbean, the op­er­a­tor of Flow, Lib­er­ty Busi­ness and BTC.

Am­raz Ho­sein of Trinidad and To­ba­go and Lamar Uf­fer of Ja­maica earned Broad­band Premis­es In­staller cer­ti­fi­ca­tions, while Antwon Wal­ter of the Cay­man Is­lands com­plet­ed cer­ti­fi­ca­tion as a Broad­band Wire­less Spe­cial­ist through the So­ci­ety of Ca­ble Telecom­mu­ni­ca­tions En­gi­neers (SCTE).

The cer­ti­fi­ca­tions mark the first group to com­plete train­ing un­der Lib­er­ty Caribbean’s Tech­ni­cian Path­ways pro­gramme, which was in­tro­duced in 2025 to strength­en tech­ni­cal skills and cre­ate clear­er ca­reer tracks for field staff.
