Minister of Homeland Security Roger Alexander has renewed his call for migrants, especially Venezuelans, to end their “slavery” in Trinidad and Tobago and ensure they are registered.
The minister emphasised the importance of the exercise, noting that the body of what appeared to be a Venezuelan woman was found yesterday in La Romaine and remains unidentified. See Page 18.
In response to questions from the Express, Alexander said that as of yesterday there were 16,126 submitted applications and 20,407 incomplete submitted applications.
