Minister of Homeland Security Roger Alexander said that at yesterday’s final day of online migrant registration, more than 27,000 applications were submitted overall via the migrant registration website.

Of that figure, 23,342 applications were from Venezuelan nationals. He also highlighted what he described as the “significant” number of children included in the applications—16,829. There were 3,656 incomplete applications recorded on the system.

The 2026 Migrant Registration Framework (MRF) requires all undocumented migrants in Trinidad and Tobago to register online at migrantregistration.gov.tt between January 26 and February 25, 2026.
