THE last time Marlon Seenath saw his 12-year-old daughter, Mariah, she was being lifted and loaded into the back of a forensic van on Saturday afternoon.
Hours earlier at 7 a.m. the child had left her grandmother’s house in Friendship Village, Ste Madeleine, walking the familiar track she and her sisters often used to get home. But Mariah never made it home.
The child’s body was found by a passer-by shortly after noon on Saturday, lying motionless near the Friendship Village Recreation Ground.
