Twelve-year-old Mariah Seenath, who loved football and her family, died from blunt force trauma to the head, according to an autopsy conducted yesterday at the Forensic Science Centre in Federation Park.
Her father, Marlon Seenath, 40, identified the body of his eldest daughter to the forensic officials and police officers, and saw the multiple bruises and marks of violence she endured.
Seenath later returned to his community on Circle Drive in Friendship Village and retraced the steps that his daughter took on the overgrown path near the Friendship Village Recreation Ground where she drew her final breaths.
