Appeal for privacy after injured workers’ video circulates

Aronco Services Limited, a company involved in heavy construction in the Point Lisas Industrial Estate, has made a public appeal for persons to respect the privacy and dignity of three employees involved in an accident on Saturday

The statement follows a video posted to social media showing three men bleeding on the roadway, near Trinidad Cement Limited (TCL) in Claxton Bay. The 31-second video showed the men in orange coveralls surrounded by other workers, calling for emergency services.

Aronco confirmed on Monday, that the three employees sustained injuries in a motor vehicle-related accident while awaiting transportation on the pavement along the Southern Main Road following the completion of their duties.
