Two ex-cops charged with 2014 murder

TWELVE years after the kidnapping and murder of 29-year-old businessman Devindra Siewdass, two former police officers have been charged with his murder.
Lyndon Brown, 40, of Munroe Road, Cunupia, and Jesse Burke, 40, of Waterloo, Carapichaima, were arrested on August 30 and subsequently charged with murder following advice from the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
The charges followed a 12-year investigation into Siewdass’ disappearance and death in March 2014.
