Residents of Huberts Town in Guapo say they are living in fear after bandits infiltrated their once-peaceful community. But police are assuring them that measures are being taken to safeguard the area.
Villagers told Guardian Media that over the past three months, bandits have targeted their homes and businesses. Businessman Michael “Crazy Jerry” Darrabie, who owns a hardware and grocery store, said he was robbed by five men, two armed with firearms.
He was sitting on a forklift when two men jumped the fence. Initially, he thought they were pranking him until one of them pulled out a gun. “I say s*&# ... this thing is real, boy.”
