State broadcaster Trinidad and Tobago Television has indicated its willingness to facilitate a live, televised debate ahead of the upcoming election for the presidency of the Trinbago Unified Calypsonians’ Organisation, TUCO.
Speaking on Talk City 91.1fm, TTT’s Chairman, Michael Kerr voiced the invitation on Tuesday’s Ground Report, to any candidates contesting the leadership position, and who indicated their interest.
“When you’re talking about Calypso, I want to share with you and of course, to all the avid listeners out there on Talk City, on TTT and along with the staff of TTT is more than willing to facilitate a live debate on television for those vying for the position of president of TUCO. So those who are interested can reach out to us and we’ll have that debate set up.”
