A Morvant man, who was charged two months ago with throwing prohibited items into the Port-of-Spain Prison, was granted $250,000 bail after he was finally held by police on Sunday.
According to a media release issued by the T&T Police Service (TTPS), Alex G Edwards, of Never Dirty, Morvant, appeared before Master Indira Chinebass.
His arrest Came following an exercise coordinated by Commissioner of Police Allister Guevarro, Deputy Commissioner of Police Suzette Martin and ASP Stanley.
