THE Hyatt Lime will not be affected by the ban on fetes at facilities operated by the Urban Development Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago (UDeCOTT), Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister Barry Padarath has said.

Padarath made the statement yesterday amid questions about whether other UDeCOTT-managed venues, aside from the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, would also be banned from hosting fetes.

However, Padarath said that Government Plaza and the Hyatt Regency (Trinidad), unlike the Brian Lara Cricket Academy, were not located in residential areas.
