Police carried out operations at the entrance to Piarco International Airport yesterday with officers searching vehicles as security was tightened at the facility.

This after a man was shot dead and two others injured in a drive-by gun attack outside the Arrivals area early Thursday morning.

When the Express visited the area about midday yesterday, police officers could be seen searching many vehicles along BWIA Boulevard.
