The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has directed that a Tobago jet ski operator be charged with manslaughter over the death of seven-year-old Angelica Saydee Jogie, more than three months after the tragedy that shocked the nation.

Police confirmed today that the 33-year-old suspect was re-arrested and is expected to appear before the Tobago Magistrates' Court today to answer the charge.

The charge arises from the April 8 incident at Pigeon Point Heritage Park, where Angelica was fatally injured after a jet ski collided with her in an area designated for bathing.
