Two police officers and a hunter are being hailed for their bravery in finding two lost hikers in the Northern Range on Sunday evening.
Police said the officers PC Rochford and PC Kissoon were on patrol in Tunapuna when they received a report of two lost hikers somewhere between Caura and Lopinot.
The officers were told that one of the hikers made contact with police using his cellphone.
