The Parliament yesterday approved a further three-month extension to the state of emergency (SoE).

All 12 People’s National Movement (PNM) Opposition members voted against the extension, prompting some Government members to shout: “Shame!”

The motion to extend the SoE was approved with the Government’s 27 votes.
